Student Opportunities

Courses, internships, and international projects across eight European universities

UNINOVIS brings together eight European higher education institutions working together to advance education, research, and innovation in applied data science, AI, and digital transformation — with a strong focus on societal impact.

UNINOVIS — Data for L.I.F.E. — stands for Lifelong learning, Innovation & integration, Fostering green and digital transition, and European excellence. Together, the eight partner universities represent over 140,000 students and 14,000 staff, united by a shared vision to integrate education, research, and innovation in data science for the benefit of society.

Student Story

Experiencing UNINOVIS in Málaga

What does it mean to be part of a European University Alliance? Earlier this year, a student media team from the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) joined the UNINOVIS General Assembly and International Conference in Málaga. During their visit, they captured the atmosphere, interviewed students and staff, and explored student life at the University of Málaga.

The result is a short video that offers a student perspective on international collaboration, intercultural exchange, and the opportunities that UNINOVIS creates across Europe. From meeting fellow students and staff to experiencing life on another campus, this project showcases how UNINOVIS brings European education to life beyond the classroom.

Watch the video and discover what it is like to be part of the UNINOVIS community.

Opportunities for Students

Students can engage with real, international communication challenges through:

Mini-assignments or class projects inspired by UNINOVIS communication needs — storytelling, content formats, or awareness campaigns.

European student communication team — collaborate virtually with peers from other partner universities.

Internships or graduation projects connected to alliance communication or branding.

Content creation challenges — visuals, videos, or social media posts for UNINOVIS and partner channels.

These opportunities can be explored within existing modules and align with UNINOVIS objectives around lifelong learning and professional knowledge sharing among educators.
