UNINOVIS launches the 2025 Call for Research Internships, inviting lecturers and research staff from all eight UNINOVIS partner universities across Europe to host an international research intern within their projects.
This initiative aims to strengthen collaboration and mobility inside our alliance — building new scientific connections and reinforcing existing ones.
Call for Hosting Researchers
If you would like to host a research intern (minimum 3 weeks – maximum 3 months) during the 2025-26 academic year, please submit your Expression of Interest and describe your research line or project where an intern could contribute.

The procedure runs in four main steps, taking place during autumn 2025 and the 2025–26 academic year:
Call for Hosting Researchers:
Academic staff from any UNINOVIS partner university can propose a short-term research internship opportunity by submitting an online Expression of Interest. Each proposal describes the research line or project where an intern could contribute.
Deadline for proposals: October 25, 2025
Call for Intern Candidates:
Once all opportunities are collected, the list will be published on uninovis.eu. Students and young researchers from across the alliance can then contact potential supervisors and apply for internships.
Inviting speakers agreeing to host an intern should provide a signed Commitment letter to the intern.

After acceptance, candidates can apply for mobility funding through their own university's administrative office. Funding options differ per partner institution.
Internship & Research Stay:
Once agreements are in place, the research stays can start — typically lasting between three weeks and three months, during the 2025–26 academic year. After the stay is completed, a report on the activities carried during this period will be submitted to the same office.
